SE Principal Leadership Bootcamp Leading with Clarity, Coherence, and Impact



Day 1 Professional Development Session: Operational Leadership That Sustains Excellence
Session Description: Effective principals know that strong instruction depends on strong systems. This session focuses on the day-to-day leadership practices that create stability, consistency, and trust across a school. Participants will examine how daily decisions, routines, and operational structures influence adult performance and school culture. Emphasis is placed on refining—not reinventing—systems for discipline, communication, supervision, and decision-making so schools function smoothly without constant crisis management. Principals will leave with practical strategies to reduce overload, lead adults with clarity, and sustain excellence over time.

Day 2 Professional Development Session: High-Impact Strategies for Effective Instructional Leaders
Session Description: This session is designed for principals ready to deepen their instructional leadership and drive meaningful improvement in teaching and learning. Participants will explore the leadership practices that consistently distinguish high-impact instructional leaders, including establishing a clear instructional vision, providing effective observation and feedback, leading data conversations that influence practice, and developing leadership capacity within their schools. The session emphasizes coherence, clarity, and collective responsibility for student success. Principals will conclude the day with a focused instructional action plan aligned to their school’s priorities.

Lunch will be provided.

For Southeast Co-op PD Consortium member districts, the fee will be waived prior to billing. Non-consortium participants who register but fail to attend without canceling will be charged a $10 fee if catering is provided. Cancellations must be made online at least two days before the workshop, by calling 870-367-6848, or emailing christy.johnson@searkcoop.com. If the workshop is canceled, you will be notified via the email address associated with your escWorks account
