IEPs become meaningful when they are intentionally designed, implemented, and monitored with student strengths and disability-related barriers at the center.
This session explores how everyday team decisions — from identifying barriers to aligning goals, services, and progress monitoring — shape access, participation, and outcomes. Through reflection and practical tools, participants will examine how IEPs move from documents to action: collaboration that is shared, supports delivered with fidelity, and students meaningfully engaged in grade-level learning. Participants will leave equipped, energized, and thoughtfully challenged to strengthen their practice and ensure IEPs truly guide instruction.
