WDMESC: Hands-on Equations, Fractions, and Basic Algebra
Cabot Middle School GT Specialists Meaghan Sitzmann and Ginger LeQueiu will present on Hands on Equations, Hands on Fractions, and the Basic Algebra book by Jerry Kaplan that we utilize with our 5th and 6th-grade gifted and talented students. Attendees will hear the research behind the hands-on systems, learn from our personal experiences in middle school, learn how to use them in their own classrooms, and leave with copies of their own to use later.
Important Session Information:
Children will not be allowed in professional development sessions facilitated at the Wilbur D. Mills Education Service Cooperative or in the building where the sessions are located. Attendees with children will be asked to leave.
