SWAEC- Mandatory School Screening Training for Vision, Hearing, Scoliosis and BMI



The new School Nurse will learn rules and regulations, along with screening protocol to conduct vision, hearing, scoliosis, and BMI screens in the school setting. **All NEW School Nurses are required to attend this training before conducting school screens. **All School Nurses are required to recertify in scoliosis screening procedures every 5 years.

For SWAEC Professional Development Consortium member districts, the fee for this session has been waived. Non-members will be charged a workshop fee. Members and non-members will be assessed a “no show” fee of $25.00 if you register and do not attend. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (address tied to escWorks) and no one will be charged a fee.
