OUR Preparing CTE Students for WorkKeys® Success



Kids First Education will provide professional development designed to support Career and Technical Education (CTE) teachers across the Ozarks Unlimited Resources region in strengthening student readiness for the WorkKeys® assessment.

During the session, Kids First will support CTE educators in:
• Developing a clear understanding of the structure, expectations, and key skill areas assessed on the WorkKeys® assessment.
• Identifying connections between WorkKeys® competencies and CTE classroom instruction.
• Integrating workplace readiness skills, applied academics, and problem-solving strategies into
daily instruction.
• Utilizing instructional strategies and classroom activities that reinforce the skills measured on
WorkKeys®.
• Strengthening instructional alignment between CTE coursework and college- and career-readiness
expectations.

The professional learning will provide practical strategies, resources, and instructional approaches to help CTE teachers better prepare students for success on the WorkKeys® assessment and strengthen real-world workforce readiness skills.
