This professional learning session supports educators in strengthening writing instruction across grades 3–10 by engaging participants in current ATLAS writing data, alignment to Arkansas standards, and a deepened understanding of the new six-point ATLAS writing rubric to be implemented beginning in the 2026–27 school year. Teachers will analyze student writing samples to support consistent scoring, instructional decision-making, and targeted feedback using the ATLAS rubric, and will leave with practical, standards-aligned strategies to support student growth in writing and improve classroom instruction.
