NEA - Ready, Set, Success: Managing Behavior in the Classroom



Are you ready to see positive behaviors in your classroom? This training is designed to empower classroom teachers to promote student engagement and appropriate behavior! Participants will learn key components for managing the classroom and the use of proactive strategies, including classroom structure, identifying and teaching behavior expectations, developing and teaching routines and procedures, and using reinforcement systems. What can teachers do when inappropriate behaviors occur despite having all the proactive strategies in place? This session walks participants through how to respond to these behaviors using informative and corrective consequences. (In order for the training to be held, there must be at least ten (10) participants registered. The Arkansas Behavior Specialists are committed to making our events accessible to everyone.  If you require accommodations, please email the BSS trainer as soon as possible.)
