SWAEC- Mandated Reporter/Child Maltreatment



This course will provide the information needed regarding Mandated Reporter Training required for all the licensed educators by Arkansas Law. The training includes recognition of indicators of maltreatment, managing disclosures from children & legal requirements of mandated reporters as well as other requirements of Act 1236. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions regarding the content of training.

For SWAEC Professional Development Consortium member districts, the fee for this session has been waived. Non-members will be charged a workshop fee. Members and non-members will be assessed a “no show” fee of $25.00 if you register and do not attend. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (address tied to escWorks) and no one will be charged a fee.
