ARESC-RTI, MTSS, and Sped Law

This training provides educators and administrators with a comprehensive understanding of how to effectively implement Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) within the framework of Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and other applicable special education laws. Participants will explore how RTI and MTSS function as proactive systems for identifying and supporting students with academic and behavioral needs, while ensuring compliance with federal and state legal requirements. The training will emphasize the integration of data-based decision making, tiered interventions, progress monitoring, and documentation practices that align with legal standards for eligibility, evaluation, and service delivery.

Important Session Information:

Participants not under contract with ARESC's Member districts will be charged a fee of $25 per day, or $15 per half day. Payment is required prior to the event session. Disclaimer*** Registered participants who do not attend and fail to cancel their registration will be held liable for the registration fee if applicable. If paying day of cash only please.
