SCSC - Early Career Exploration



Join us for a dynamic 3-hour professional development session focused on strengthening Early Career Exploration in your school. Participants will engage in a Masterclass of experts sharing best practices, innovative strategies, and real-world insights to support student career awareness and readiness. 
This session will guide school teams in building a strong career readiness culture, aligning efforts across classrooms, counseling programs, and school leadership. Attendees will also receive an overview of grant opportunities through Paxton/Patterson, including key requirements and next steps for participation. 
Team Requirement:
Schools must attend as a team consisting of: 
1 Building Administrator
1 School Counselor
4 Additional Staff Members 
Important: Attendance is required to be eligible for the grant opportunity. 
Come prepared to collaborate, learn, and take actionable steps toward expanding career exploration opportunities for all students. TESS components addressed include: 1D, 2E

Important Session Information:


For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium, the fee has been waived. If you are not part of the SCSC PD Consortium, you may be charged a minimum of $40 per day for any training even if the fee listed is zero.  Districts that have not paid for nurses and/or paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (address tied to escWorks). Participants are not allowed to bring guests (such as children or spouses) to any training.
