Magnolia-Central-Curriculum Mapping Updates: Looking Deeply and Reflectively at each Unit



Participants will update curriculum maps and lesson plans after analyzing assessment data to help drive class instruction.

Important Session Information:


  • Pacing will be adjusted to adequately address the scope and sequence of the CKLA curriculum and to include unit assessments. 
  • Using the Science of Reading best practices and the CKLA Curriculum, non-negotiable instructional routines will be identified for daily instruction.
  • Using unit focus standards and instructional outlines, teachers will plan for daily instruction in the areas of Morphology, Language (Conventions and Structures), Reading, and Writing.
  • Using the CKLA Curriculum units and Arkansas Social Studies standards, CKLA assignments will be identified to address each Social Studies standard.
  • Schedule and plan for Progress Monitoring throughout the
