This session is designed to support cafeteria managers and food service directors in the WDMESC area as they prepare for the ServSafe Manager Certification exam. Participants will review key food safety concepts aligned to ServSafe standards, including foodborne illness prevention, personal hygiene, time and temperature control, cross-contamination, cleaning and sanitation, and regulatory requirements. The session will include guide review, test-taking strategies, and opportunities to ask questions and clarify challenging topics. While this is not a full training course, it is intended to strengthen participant readiness and confidence prior to testing. Participants are encouraged to bring their ServSafe Coursebook and any study materials they have been using. Testing is not included in this session. ServSafe Manager exams can be scheduled by contacting Tuer Kennard at tkennard@wdmesc.org.
