OUR From Standards to Strategy: Using AI to Align Curriculum, Close Gaps, and Improve Student Growth

This hands-on, full-day workshop equips school leaders and
instructional facilitators with practical AI workflows for aligning
curriculum to Arkansas Content Standards, Achievement Level
Descriptors (ALDs), and ATLAS Assessment Blueprints — identifying gaps
in content coverage and strategically pacing instruction before state
testing windows.

Facilitators will open by sharing their own data journey — how
Harrison School District began using AI tools to analyze assessment
data, surface student growth trends, and connect curriculum decisions
to measurable outcomes. This real-world context grounds the workshop
in actual district practice, not theory.

Participants will work hands-on with Google NotebookLM, Google Gemini,
and Claude — learning how to upload curriculum documents, pacing
guides, and state standards to generate gap analyses, instructional
priority maps, and pacing recommendations aligned to ATLAS blueprint
weightings across any content area. Participants will also learn how
to use these tools to analyze Common Formative Assessments (CFAs)
against ALDs, check the rigor of assessment items against DOK levels,
and identify where instructional materials may not be pushing students
to the performance levels required for proficiency and growth.

The afternoon includes a dedicated section on responsible AI use and
student data privacy — covering what information is and isn't
appropriate to upload into AI tools, how to communicate AI use
policies to staff, and how to build a tiered AI framework for your
district that protects student PII while still unlocking the
instructional value these tools offer.

No prior AI experience is required. Participants will leave with
working notebooks, ready-to-use prompt workflows, and a repeatable
process they can implement across c
