Participants will engage in vertical planning to connect key concepts across grade levels, ensuring a coherent progre3ssion that supports student readiness. The session will focus on unit planning aligned to priority standards, incorporating essential ATLAS concepts reflected in state assessment expectations. Educators will explore assessment-aligned tasks and strategies for embedding these expectations into daily instruction.
The session will also highlight high-impact instructional strategies, including formative assessment, purposeful questioning, and meaningful student discourse. Participants will also be provided training on embedding Building Thinking Classrooms instructional strategies and practices that supports teachers in creating student-centered environments that promote collaboration, reasoning, and deep conceptual understanding.
