This workshop provides educators with practical training in the implementation of the SONDAY System®, a structured, multisensory reading intervention program based on the Orton-Gillingham approach. Designed to support struggling readers, students with dyslexia, English language learners, and students receiving intervention services, the SONDAY System emphasizes explicit, systematic instruction in phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, spelling, and comprehension.
Participants will gain hands-on experience using SONDAY instructional materials and learn strategies for delivering engaging, evidence-based literacy instruction in small-group or intervention settings. The training focuses on sequential skill development, multisensory teaching techniques, progress monitoring, and effective lesson delivery that can be immediately implemented in the classroom.
