WDMESC: Beginning Principal Mentoring (Y1) Days 2-6



John Wink will partner with principals and beginning mentors throughout the year to strengthen schoolwide systems, improve organizational structures, and build clear, consistent communication practices. Across each monthly session, he will guide leaders in diagnosing system challenges, refining processes, and aligning routines with campus goals. His work will support principals in developing effective safety, discipline, instructional, coaching, and evaluation systems while reinforcing strong communication with staff and families. Through collaborative problem-solving and practical planning, participants will learn how to create predictable structures that reduce confusion, increase clarity, and elevate student success.

Day 2

Children will not be allowed in professional development sessions facilitated at the Wilbur D. Mills Education Service Cooperative or in the building where the sessions are located. Attendees with children will be asked to leave.
