WDMESC: Principal Job Alike Day 1

Day 1: All principals are welcome to our Beginning Principal Kickoff for 2026 with John Wink. We will have our Job Alike updates during lunch (11:30-12:30). Session information for Mr. Wink's session: John Wink will lead principals through a high-impact workshop focused on building the foundational systems that make schools thrive. Drawing from his Excellence in Every Classroom leadership framework, he will guide participants in designing organizational structures that reduce chaos, strengthen teacher support, and increase instructional focus. Principals will learn how to create efficient processes that align daily practices with campus goals, ensuring clarity and consistency for staff. The session will also emphasize building strong, proactive communication systems that foster trust with parents and families. Wink will model communication approaches that make expectations clear, reduce misunderstandings, and elevate family partnership in student success. Participants will engage in practical planning, reflection, and collaborative problem-solving to prepare for a successful school year. By the end of the workshop, leaders will leave with actionable tools to establish systems, strengthen organization, and communicate with confidence.
