WDMESC: Elevating Coaching Conversations



This full-day session builds the capacity of instructional leaders to engage teachers in coaching conversations that are focused, evidence-based, and growth-producing. Participants will learn how to strengthen pre-conference and post-conference practices, use observation evidence to anchor feedback, and apply NIET’s coaching protocols to support teacher reflection and ownership. Through modeling, practice, and collaborative analysis, leaders will refine their ability to ask high-leverage questions, provide actionable next steps, and maintain a balance of support and accountability. By the end of the day, participants will be equipped with strategies that elevate coaching interactions and lead to sustained improvements in classroom instruction.
