NWAESC(2095)-*MENTORING* Navigating the Third Year of Teaching



For mentors or novices: This session will focus on using clear learning targets and success criteria to create a structured flow for teaching and learning. Participants will explore practical strategies for helping students understand what they are learning, why it matters, and how they will know they are successful. The session will also include a wellness check-in and a collaborative round-table discussion to share ideas, successes, and next steps. This session was planned using the pacing and structure in the 2026-27 DESE Mentoring Manual Appendix B.
