AFESC-Meaningful Access for Students with Extensive Support Needs

This session will focus on using Dynamic Learning Maps (DLM) as an instructional planning tool to increase rigor and support meaningful access and participation for students with extensive support needs. Participants will learn strategies for using the DLM Essential Elements to support students across a variety of settings and explore resources that promote high expectations, communication support, and meaningful access for all learners. The session will also highlight a range of Assistive Technology options that can enhance student access, engagement, and independence.
