SCSC-AGQBA Quiz Bowl Annual Coaches’ Meeting



"The AGQBA Annual Coaches’ Meeting provides coaches with the key information, updates, and resources they need for the 2026–2027 Quiz Bowl season. Coaches will have the opportunity to ask questions of an AGQBA board member, connect with other coaches, register teams, schedule scrimmages, and more. 
Topics will include registration, rules and rule changes, player eligibility, applicable AAA rules, camps and camp policies, conference/divisional/state tournament forms and details, important deadlines, and other AGQBA resources. 
All AGQBA Quiz Bowl coaches are expected to attend a regional coaches’ meeting. If you cannot attend the meeting associated with your regional co-op, you may attend another AGQBA regional meeting. Virtual meeting options are also available. Search the escWorks database to find a meeting that fits your schedule. A school is strongly encouraged to send a representative to attend and sign-off on behalf of a coach who is unable to attend. 
At the conclusion of the meeting, coaches or their representatives will complete the AGQBA Coaches’ Meeting and Rules Acknowledgment. Once the acknowledgment is submitted, coaches will receive access to the 2026–2027 AGQBA Practice Questions.

Important Session Information:


For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium, the fee has been waived. If you are not part of the SCSC PD Consortium, you may be charged a minimum of $40 per day for any training even if the fee listed is zero.  Districts that have not paid for nurses and/or paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (address tied to escWorks). Participants are not allowed to bring guests (such as children or spouses) to any training.
