OUR Medicaid Billing | Novice to Expert – What you need to know!



This practical training is designed for school administrators, special education leaders, nurses, Medicaid coordinators, billing staff, and service providers who are responsible for supporting or managing school-based Medicaid programs. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of Arkansas Medicaid in the Schools (MITS), including the legal and regulatory foundations of Medicaid billing, available reimbursable services, provider enrollment requirements, parental consent procedures, documentation standards, and claim submission processes. The training also explores the connection between Medicaid, IDEA, and FAPE, helping districts understand how Medicaid reimbursement supports essential services for students with disabilities.
