DSC Tigers in STEM:CHEM



High School Chemistry Teachers! This is an amazing opportunity for you and your students to collaborate with chemistry students, professors, and teachers from other districts at Ouachita Baptist University (OBU)! Bring your chemistry students (up to 5 students) to OBU for a full day of hands-on experiences in the university’s chemistry labs. Students will have the opportunity to work alongside OBU chemistry students and professors while participating in engaging, college-level chemistry activities. While students are working in the lab, teachers will earn 6 hours of professional development focused on hands-on chemistry labs and activities that you can take back and use in your own classroom—just in time for National Chemistry Week! This event has been a great success for participants in the past, and we are excited to continue providing this opportunity for chemistry teachers and students from across the region. Come learn, collaborate, and celebrate chemistry with us at OBU! Target Audience: Secondary Chemistry teachers and students
