NWAESC(2095)-*MENTORING* Navigating the Third Year of Teaching



For mentors or novices: This session will focus on creating engaging content and strong questioning/discussion techniques. Participants will explore practical strategies for designing engaging lessons and questioning/discussion techniques that get all students involved in thinking at high levels. The session will also include a wellness check-in and a collaborative round-table discussion to share ideas, successes, and next steps. This session was planned using the pacing and structure in the 2026-27 DESE Mentoring Manual Appendix B.
