NWAESC(2095)-*MENTORING* Navigating Being a Mentor



Are you mentoring a new teacher, but not quite sure if you're doing it right? Would you like tools to ensure that your novice teacher gets the most out of your mentorship? Join us for a day of networking with other mentors in NWA, learning about tools to support your novice teacher. This session will focus in the second-quarter topics to ensure that novices are adequately prepared to close out the semester. This session will also include a wellness check-in & a collaborative round-table discussion to share ideas, successes, and next steps. This session was planned using the pacing and structure in the 2026-27 DESE Mentoring Manual Appendix B.
