SCSC - Behind the Scores: Understanding Special Education Evaluation Data

Participants will explore how to review existing data, interpret assessment results, and consider multiple sources of information when making eligibility and educational decisions. This training will focus on connecting evaluation data to student strengths, needs, eligibility considerations, and educational programming. Participants will increase the capacity to identify what the scores really tell us about the student in order to move beyond simply reviewing the data and move towards understanding the story it tells. TESS components addressed include: 1D, 3D, 4E

Important Session Information:

For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium, the fee has been waived. If you are not part of the SCSC PD Consortium, you may be charged a minimum of $40 per day for any training even if the fee listed is zero.  Districts that have not paid for nurses and/or paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee.
