GFESC Mentor Teacher Professional Development: Supporting Novice Teachers
This 3-hour professional development session is designed to provide mentors with an update on effective practices for supporting and guiding novice teachers. Mentors will strengthen their coaching skills, explore strategies for building trusting and productive mentoring relationships, and learn practical ways to support new teachers as they navigate the challenges of their first years in the classroom. The session will also provide opportunities to reflect, collaborate, and share strategies for helping novice teachers grow in confidence, effectiveness, and professional practice.
