Build Teambuilding, Communication and Problem Solving in the MS/HS Classroom

Do your middle or high students struggle working with a partner or give up on a problem after only one attempt to solve it?  Or are you wanting to enhance their skills by integrating more hands-on opportunities that integrate intellectual, social, physical, and emotional learning?  Are you looking to enhance their leadership and team player mindset?  If so, this workshop is for you.  Participants will engage in teambuilding initiatives and challenges that integrate academic content and enhances student learning, responsibility, problem solving and interpersonal skills. 


Course Objectives:


At the end of the course, students will be able to:

  • Understand how to merge intellectual, social, physical, and emotional learning together.
  • Analyze how to integrate hands-on teambuilding initiatives to encourage development of social, emotional and character development skills.
  • Analyze how building interpersonal skills can help create a caring/responsive school culture.
  • Outline how to integrate initiatives and challenges into their content area and classroom.
