Session Detail

Simple Coding With Arduinos

Discover how easy it is to interact with electronics and write simple programming code using Arduinos--small, inexpensive, open-source electronic board.  Receive an Arduino starter kit and learn how to code simple inputs to produce various outputs - lighting up LEDs, sounding a buzzer, activating sensors, and more.  We will look at how Arduinos can be used to teach the state computer science standards, as well as standards for other content areas, and design lesson plans for use in your classroom.  Previous electronics and coding experience are not necessary.
