In this book study, we will be looking at ways to build sufficient background knowledge in each lesson so that students can successfully comprehend what they are reading. We will be reading the book "The Knowledge Gap" by Natalie Wexler (2019) and using information from several other sources to learn about and practice instructional techniques for building background knowledge.

You will need to purchased the book prior to the first class.
