Structured Literacy in the Middle School and High School Classroom




Structured Literacy is the key to reading success. In this training, we will address what structured literacy is and how it is important in middle and high school instruction in English Language Arts.  We will focus on classroom based assessment tools you can use in your classroom to identify student strengths and weakness and then target the specific skills individual students need to be improve reading and writing skills.It is often difficult to find time outside of the regular classroom at the middle/high school level so this training will focus on specific strategies to support your students in core instruction.
