If you are a Literacy Instructional Coach or a Lead Teacher at the Elementary or Secondary level join us this year for this cadre!  We will meet virtually 10 times throughout the year (once a month from August – May) for 1 hour on each date (2pm-3pm).  The time of day is subject to change based on the schedule of our participants.  This cadre will be led by Robyn Pekarek, a consultant who has experience as an instructional coach and has benefitted as a classroom teacher from instructional coaching.  Topics we will discuss as a group include:  your primary role in supporting classroom teachers for reading instruction, assessment practices in your building, supporting the science of reading with tier instructional practices, and discussing the book “No More Random Acts of Literacy Coaching” by Erin Brown.  This cadre will help you become stronger in your coaching and lead teacher role and provide you with a network of support from other instructional leaders.  Take advantage of this great opportunity!
