Grading is one of a teacher’s greatest responsibilities. Yet many educators have little training in the variety of grading and reporting methods. How can we ensure student grades reflect learning? Shifting our grading practices to better reflect learning allows schools to identify standards for reteaching, determine students for intervention, and report transparent grades. This workshop not only illustrates the differences between learning-oriented and traditional grading and reporting practices, but also how to transition to learning-oriented instructional grading and reporting practices. Join us for this interactive and thought-provoking workshop!
