Looking for ways to help your students understand expository text? Students in reading expository texts need to automatically look for underlying text structures, ask questions as they read, and use strong verbal reasoning skills to construct meaning. We will be looking at some model lessons and delving into some strategies that will help you assist your students in developing the skills needed to deeply analyze and think about expository text.  Included in the training is the book: “Reading NonFiction: Notice and Note”.
