One of the keys to helping students read complex text is to help them understand the underlying structure of narrative texts and then ask questions.  We will be looking at some model lessons and delving into some strategies you can use to guide your students in developing the skills needed to deeply analyze and think about narrative text.  Included in the training is the book: “Notice and Note: Strategies for Close Reading”.
