Managing behaviors in the classroom can be exhausting!  Building your teacher "tool belt" to assist in these efforts is a positive step toward using your classroom energy proactively.  The foundation for this approach hinges on the principle that behavior occurs for a reason and can be taught and changed.  Core features of DSC are organized around the STOIC model.  This is not a curriculum, nor a program, but a collection of recommendations affirmed by Safe & Civil Schools.
