Feedback and Learning in Public Practices (FliPP): Improving Academic Literacy, brings the Institute for Education Sciences Practice Guides for Improving Adolescent Literacy and Improving Reading Comprehension  to life leveraging public practice as a vehicle for in-service educators, termed public practitioners, to explore and embed research-based student engagement, academic vocabulary and critical thinking and comprehension strategies to improve academic literacy cross-content. Building administrators are strongly encouraged to attend.
