  1. NDMTSS: Developing Pathways for Behavior - Year 1 - Bismarck Location (3 Days Training)

    Students fall through the cracks every year and educators continue to do everything in their power to avoid it. Developing Pathways for Behavior is a systemic approach to MTSS in a school by blending a standard protocol approach with a problem-solving model that matches instruction and interventions to students needs. This training, intended for a leadership team, is designed utilize the NDMTSS Essential Components to solve problems at the school, classroom, and student level. Emphasis will be given to translating current educational research practice to help schools maximize resources and outcomes for all students. Examples of data systems for universal screening and progress monitoring will be identified, as well as specific interventions and curricula to address problems at a systems level.


    Presenter, Wayne Callender will also do a 4 hour site visit at your school for an additional $1,500 for a team of 6.

    Students fall through the cracks every year and educators continue to do everything in their power to avoid it.  NDMTSS is an improvement framework that provides all students with the best opportunity to succeed academically and behaviorally in school.  This training, intended for school or district lead teams, will assist schools in determining their desired state of providing high-quality instruction and interventions matched to student need while monitoring progress frequently to make decisions about changes in instruction and/or goals.  The training will empower teams to build an action plan to determine the resources and supports necessary to ensure every student is provided the opportunity to succeed

    Each year Minot Public Schools offers multiple hours of professional learning. Participants may choose to sign up for 1, 2, 3 or 4 credit and will pay for credit through MSU.
