NESC ND State Standards Online Series: Standards Based Instruction
Standards Based Instruction


Standards Based Instruction will engage educators in the study of North Dakota standards through: prioritization and use of standards, development and use of proficiency scales, development and use of classroom goals, and development and use of assessment items for the purpose of improving instruction and assessment. Educators can expect in-depth practice and are encouraged to have a partner or PLC in mind in order to complete many of the course tasks.

Participants:  North Dakota K-12 educators, higher education faculty, and Teacher Education students

Cost:  NESC member educators may participate FREE of charge!  Teacher Education students may participate FREE of charge!  U
se code "NESC" if you are NESC or a Teacher Education Student.  All other educators will receive an emailed invoice from the NESC for a $200 course fee.



Important Session Information:

This course is independent study and will be conducted online.  All resources and assignments will be available, digitally, within the online course shell.  It is the expectation that participants work at their own pace while completing all assignments before the final due date.

Two virtual check-ins are required and will be scheduled with the course facilitator after enrollment is confirmed.
