NDMTSS - PBIS Tier 1 Developing Schoolwide Behavior Expectations - Secondary Focus
Secondary schools will plan for the identification and teaching of school-wide expectations of behavior.  Further, they will develop plans for active supervision, problem behavior, classroom management, data collection, and data systems.  Upon completion, schools will have identified gaps in current practice and have an Action Plan for steps to improve practice in their building.

SESSION TIME:
Breakfast & Sign-In: 8:00 AM
Session Start: 8:30 AM

Cost of Training: $3,000/team of 6, $120 for each additional member.
A signed MOU is required for each school. Click here to download and complete the required MOU.

One continuing education credit is available through VCSU

A signed MOU is required for each school. If you receive an error message when attempting to register that reads "This session is restricted to a specific location," this means there is not a signed MOU on file for your school. In order to open registration for your school, please email Cheryl Hoggarth at cheryl.hoggarth@K12.nd.us to request an MOU for this training. Once MOU is complete, registration will be open and available for your school to register.

Objectives:  

1.  Understand PBIS implementation within a multi-tired system of support

2.  Have a global understanding of the core principles of PBIS

3.  Understand and identify the 10 critical elements of Tier 1 including developing school-wide expectations and recognizing student success

4.  Develop a draft Action Plan for Tier 1 implementation

A light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
