GET GOING WITH GOOGLE CLASSROOM - Audience: classroom teachers and administrators in districts using Google Apps for Education




This workshop will focus on the following topics:

  • Getting started - adding a class, setting permissions, inviting co-teachers
  • Posting a question and adding students to your class
  • Creating an assignment and viewing student work
  • Grading and returning assignments
  • Posting announcements
  • Using polling and quizzing features

Are you interested in using Google Classroom with your students but still not sure where to start?

This workshop is designed for classroom teachers or administrators in GAFE districts who have not yet started using Google Classroom or who have started, but then didn’t get too far.

To make the most of this experience, participants need to bring their own laptops and must have a Google Drive and Google Classroom account through their school district.

If time permits, we will also cover some additional Google Drive integration items.
