By participating in this online course*, educators will be immersed in the latest research and best practices from a wide variety of settings. Using this network of educators, we will construct a framework for dual language learners that will use evidence-based strategies for screening, response-to-intervention, assessment, and treatment of this unique population.
Through guided readings, videos, interactive discussions, and real world application activities, educators will develop a toolkit for their setting that will allow them to dynamically and effectively meet the needs of their multi-lingual students.
*Please note that a textbook is required for this course (Paradis, J., Genesee, F., & Crago, M. B. (2011). Dual language development and disorders. Baltimore, MD: Brookes.). The textbook can be purchased for approximately $30.00 on amazon at the following link: Click Here
