Important Session Information:

Become a Registered Behavior Technician.

Join us for the Behavior Academy in June and follow up with two days of review and practice to prepare for the RBT exam to earn an internationally recognized credential.

The Behavior Academy will arm you with strategies and methods to support behavior needs of students ages 3-22. You will not only gain a better understanding of the basic principles of behavior, but will learn how important antecedent awareness is to setting up your classroom environment to support all learners. You will earn 32 of the 40 required contact hours to become eligible to sit for the RBT exam.

In August, we will provide you with a review of essential information, opportunity to participate in a practice exam and complete the required performance Competency Assessment to become credentialed. By the end of our time together you will have completed your 40 hours of training, prepped for your written exam, completed your Competency Assessment, and most of all, become better armed to support your learners.

To become a certified RBT, applicants must be 18 years of age, possess a minimum of a high school diploma or national equivalent, complete 40 hours of training, complete a background check, pass the RBT Competency Assessment, and pass the RBT examination.

This training program is based on the RBT Task List and is designed to meet the 40-hour training requirement for RBT certification. The program is offered independent of the BACB.

Not included in this training program is the proctoring of the written RBT assessment required for certification, the fees required for the RBT examination, the background check, the application fee for credentialing, or the required supervision component of the RBT credential.
