Archdiocese Principal Coaching and Feedback Cohort

- K-12 Parochial Principals, Assistant Principals, Instructional Coaches




  • Learn coaching and feedback strategies and practice these strategies.
  • Identify areas of focus for classroom visits. i.e. - OTES Rubric, Gradual Release, School Initiatives, Instructional Strategies, etc.
  • Visit classrooms to observe teachers and provide feedback based on focus areas.
  • Dialogue with colleagues to discuss feedback and coaching strategies.
  • Apply a common language of instruction.

Important Session Information:


The Coaching and Feedback Cohort is a school-embedded professional learning experience that builds instructional leadership capacity for administrators and instructional coaches. Cohort members will observe classroom teaching in small groups and practice learned feedback and coaching strategies. Focus areas for feedback and coaching will include the OTES rubric, district specific goals, and school-wide initiates. The overall purpose is to develop the coaching and feedback skills of administrators to improve the instructional skills and techniques of their teachers.
