Important Session Information:

Are you searching for supports to limit the increasing impact of student mental health and behavioral needs on your emotional well-being? You are invited to join a unique group of professionals to learn more about how to take care of you!

Join us as we dive into the realm of vicarious trauma and compassion fatigue with colleagues experiencing similar challenges. There is a cost to caring and it is not uncommon for school professionals, who have a classroom with one or more students struggling with the effects of trauma, to experience symptoms very much like those their students are exhibiting; or, for the building administration and support staff to encounter like experiences throughout their day which may result in compassion fatigue.

This learning experience is filled with discussion on strategies, tools, and topics that guide you successfully through in order to limit the impact of burnout, vicarious trauma, and compassion fatigue.

Through discussion, you will learn what vicarious trauma is and its cost on your personal wellbeing. Learn to recognize the signs that vicarious trauma may be impacting you and that of your colleagues. Learn how to support your staff as they continue to educate our students with ever-increasing needs.

We work with you to develop a self-care plan that works specifically for you.
