Important Session Information:

Have you ever wondered how to advance your students from one switch to two switches? The benefits of two switch scanning can be a powerful tool from choice making, to game play, increasing the speed of communication, control over a communication device and having an alternative physical access location. This three-hour course, co-taught by an occupational therapist and speech-language pathologist, will review and break down the steps to transition your student from one switch to two switches through play and exploration. The course will provide many implementation ideas along the way for play, communication, social interactions and the curriculum and leave you with a step-by-step manual and resource for websites and ideas. One switch, two switch. Red Switch, Blue switch. Oh, the places you will go and the things you will think after this alternative access course!
