The
Instructional Technology Leadership Academy (ITLA) provides a unique
opportunity for new or existing professionals and teams to build their capacity
as leaders who support technology-enhanced instruction. During our full-day
workshop on Day 1, Dr. Nathan Lang-Raad joins us to help develop our skillsets
for everyday instructional coaching. Regardless of your coaching model or time
constraints, his seven daily drivers help make the coaching experience
manageable and successful. Dr. Nathan Lang-Raad has been a teacher, assistant
principal, director of curriculum and instruction, university adjunct
professor, consultant, and educational strategist. He is a Google Certified
Educator, Microsoft Innovative Educator, and 2016 Apple Teacher. Dr. Lang-Raad
is the author of, "Everyday Instructional Coaching: Seven Daily Drivers to
Support Teacher Effectiveness" and co-author of the soon-to-be-released, "The New
Art and Science of Teaching Mathematics" with Robert J. Marzano. All participants
will receive a copy of his Everyday Instructional Coaching book to refer to
during the Day 1. On Day 2, participants dive into developing personal skill
sets within our work of supporting technology-enhanced instruction. All
participants will receive lunch on Day 1 of the academy.
