Teach the Teacher Program: Fun Ways to Teach Financial Education
Presented by the Independent Bankers Association of Texas





Gain valuable insight and instruction in the TEA-required principals of financial literacy, including balancing a checkbook, credit scores, debit cards, identity theft, and understanding different types of insurance & investment vehicles.

Participation is limited, as each participant will receive a $100 stipend. There must be a minimum of 30 participants, or the session will be cancelled. The recommended audience for the session includes Middle and High School teachers in the following subjects: Social Studies, Economics, Mathematics and Business Education. For those interested in continued collaboration, a local community bank representative can be paired to serve as a Banker-Mentor for the teacher.
