Phonological Awareness (Pre-K-1)

What is phonological awareness, and why is it important? In this session we will review the phonological awareness continuum and what the Pre-K guidelines, Kindergarten and First Grade TEKS set as a standard for our students. Teachers will receive resources for teaching phonological awareness in their classrooms and have time to plan for using these resources! Please bring a laptop or an I-Pad if you have one available.
