Reading eBooks with the “Right” Devices and Apps

Learn the process of how students with visual impairments access eBooks in their educational settings. Acquire knowledge of eBooks, including the transition from hardcopy print or braille to a multi-sensory approach to reading, and proprietary Bookreaders vs. eBook reading apps. Four eBook reading apps will be demonstrated, and the support for Unified English Braille will be discussed. Session and materials costs are partially funded through state or federal grants.
